We take pride in making your child’s dental experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We will thoroughly present treatment options, explain our procedures, and educate you on the maintenance of your child’s oral health. It is our goal to have you feel secure about the treatment of your child’s dental needs.

We use the latest techniques to ensure that your child is comfortable during each procedure. Oral sedation and laughing gas are excellent options for pain control during dental treatment. The delivery system for laughing gas is a soft nose that is placed over the child’s nose so they can inhale the gas. When inhaled, it is absorbed by the body and has a calming effect. Before your child leaves the dental chair, all of the laughing gas is out of your child’s system, and they will feel as they did before the appointment began.

You are welcome to stay with your child in the treatment room during procedures. The best option for your child will be discussed with you during the treatment-planning consultation.

We know that your schedule is busy, and we try to be as accommodating as possible. Dental treatment and the placement of appliances are most successful before 1:00 p.m., as children do best in the morning when they are well rested.

Our office is conveniently located in Milpitas. Our friendly and courteous staff will greet you and offer you a tour of our office. While waiting in the reception area, children can enjoy playing games. A visit to our office always concludes with a smile and a toy.

Environmentally Friendly Pediatric Dentistry

Here at Teethbuddies Pediatric Dentistry, we are improving our office in an effort to go green! Here are some of the ways we are doing our part:

• We are chartless! We use computerized charts, thus reducing our paper use.
• We recycle!
• We use distilled water!
• We use digital X-ray machines! This means that we do not use chemicals to develop your X-rays. Additionally, the digital radiography machine releases up to 90 percent less radiation than traditional X-ray machines while providing crisp, clear images for more efficient diagnoses and treatment. This allows us to store it easily and efficiently in our computer files, eliminating paper files.
• We utilize state-of-the-art sterilization equipment that destroys all contaminants. Each instrument is cleaned, sterilized and used on only one patient.
